Physical DescriptionTransparent dark blue non-lead glass; blown, diamond-engraved, gilded, painted. Cylindrical shape with trailed, milled foot rim; sides decorated with diamond-point engraved and painted decoration: formal foliate border above a wide section divided into six panels, two with painted and gilded oval panels with scrolled frames, four (separated by two bands of painted and gilded circles) containing formal foliate scrolls, with bands of linked ovals above and below, with another painted and gilded band of foliage below, above a border of stylized foliage at the base; mounted on a silver base with three ball feet, and a shaped side panel decorated with engraved foliage, and lined with matching silver plates in the bottom.
