Physical Description(a) Colorless (grey) non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilt. Straight-sided, cylindrical form; the sides covered with enameled decoration, a ring of white lily-of-the-valley flowers above a red, green, blue, white, yellow and gilt foliate and berry border; the sides covered with depictions of the life of Jesus, from the Annunciation, through Nativity, to Crucifixion, in ten rectangular panels framed by foliate and geometric borders in various colors; trailed foot ring with white enamel dashes; bottom with slight kick and rough pontil mark. (b) Colorless (yellowish) non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilt. Domed form with folded rim and tapered brim; enameled formal foliate decoration on top; triple bulbous finial, two bulbs drawn from the cover, and open to the inside, the top baluster applied and solid; the top baluster enameled opaque blue, the lower two bulbs with enameled radial white lines; white enamel dashes on the rim; rough pontil mark inside.
