Physical DescriptionPossibly colorless or almost colorless glass; blown, tooled, surfaces colored, perhaps by spraying; rim ground. Vase with two necks; necks of unequal height, each with straight, tapering side which splays at bottom and merges with wall; taller neck is narrower, has plain rim with surface ground flat in plane that descends toward side of vessel; shorter neck has plain rim ground flat in plane that descends toward opposite side; body is asymmetrical, with egg-shaped plan, almost circular elevation and horizontal perforation off-center, near mid-point; wall curves outward, downward and inward; plain base, slightly concave underneath; no pontil mark; surface covered with variegated, slightly iridescent film which obscures color of glass; this is greenish yellow with streaks and patches of grayish purple; scratched signature under base: "Bar-Tal/1969".
