Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Large, bell-shaped bowl, open to a cylindrical, straight-sided, panel-cut stem; the side of the bowl with engraved figures of a male musician playing a mandolin, while a female figure sits alongside holding a rose in one hand, wearing a conical hat with flowing veil, a bird flying between the two figures; disk foot; polished concave pontil mark; inscribed in diamond point, "KN 2300 DEC 107-5"; two paper stickers on the foot, one of rounded, rectangular form, printed with a stylized tree formed of red triangles in the center, surrounded by a dark blue band with reversed letters, ".CRYSTAL LEERDAM. / MADE IN HOLLAND" and an oval metallic gold sticker with scalloped edge, inscribed in raised letters " FOCKE & MELTZER / AMSTERDAM" around a caduceus.Provenance
