Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless, with green tinge. Blown; linear-cut. Beaker shaped like truncated cone. Rim plain and ground flat; wall straight and tapering; base flat; pontil mark roughly circular (D. about 1.6 cm). Wall is decorated with hastily executed, continuous linear-cut frieze, which begins 2.6 cm below rim and ends slightly above bottom; at top, two horizontal border lines. Below this, frieze is divided in two by opposed pairs of vertical lines; each half contains V-shaped panel with double outline, containing hatched oval motif and space fillers; outside each panel, abstract ornament of curving lines and pairs of short, straight stripes.Provenance
