Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut; sulphide. Cylindrical shape, flared rim; finely cut horizontal ribs near rim, with finely cut vertical ribbing to base; an oval panel encloses a molded white sulphide of classical head of young man, with three additional concealed heads, including an old man (Hercules?), a horned faun, and the head of a goat or unicorn; sulphide inscribed in black on reverse, in script "lescalier/a paril/a paril"; finely cut radial ribbing on base.
