Physical DescriptionBeaker. Colorless lead glass; blown, diamond-point engraved; zwischengold additions. Slightly tapered straight-sided circular shape; with separate conforming rims set on the top and bottom, an oval panel on the side, and a circular panel on the bottom; top band decorated with blue forget-me-nots and green leaves against a gold ground on the outside, and a gold chain against a red ground on the inside; oval panel framed with forget-me-nots around the foliated initials "EH" against a red ground, the back of the panel in silver, inscribed "Zum/Andenken" and "Mildner fee: a Guttenbrunn/1805" below; lower band decorated with forget-me-nots and leaves against a gold ground on the outside, and plain silver on the inside; circular base panel decorated with a gold and white multi-pointed star on the bottom, and foliated initials "FR" on the inside, surrounded by a wreath of gold flowers, against a red ground; sides of the glass decorated with diamond-point garlands, stars, tassels, and spiral ribbon; oval panel framed with diamond-point spiral ribbon.Provenance
