Physical DescriptionColorless with opalescent surface and brown pigment; mold-blown; rim finished at furnace; fumed. Bottle: four-sided. Rim everted with rounded lip; short cylindrical neck; shoulder splays and then bulges outward in bulbous shape which projects beyond wall and is divided into four by vertical indentations above centers of sides; slightly irregular vertical wall; flat base, ground and polished, with concavity at center. Mold-blown decoration on walls: overall lattice effect made by many more-or-less equidistant vertical and horizontal lines which appear to be woven together. Rim, neck and upper part of shoulder slightly iridescent; most of shoulder and all of walls silver-gray with some iridescence; lattice decoration heightened with brown. Acid-etched or scratched signature in concavity on base: "Boda/ Atelje 306/ B. Vallien" (cursive). Rectangular paper label attached to shoulder: in black on silver, "Handmade/ Boda/ Sweden".
