Physical DescriptionCovered Jar (vetro a retortoli). Colorless. Vetro a fili, vetro a retorti; applied. Goblet has tall, bell-shaped bowl with fire-polished rim; joined by colorless glue-bit to blown knop that is attached by colorless glue-bit to pedestal foot with colorless ribbon applied to upper surface around rim; all are surmounted by widely flaring, flanged lid ending on top in blown knop, merese, and solid dumbbell knop in colorless glass. Twelve canes of twisted white threads were applied vertically to round base and lower quarter of bowl, spreading from center of bowl in relief; two compound bands consisting of twisted opaque white thread between two single, narrow white ribbons are at about one-third and two-thirds height of goblet.

Knop and foot are decorated with vetro a fili and vetro a retorti canes. Lid is adorned with 10 canes of twisted white threads applied vertically, spreading from knop in full relief; knop is decorated with six vetro a retorti canes.
