Physical DescriptionOpaque white glass; blown, enameled; pewter mounts. Cylindrical shape, flaring at base, with applied loop handle; enameled decoration of a man in a red coat smoking a long pipe, with elaborate floral decoration at either side; ribbed pewter band around the top rim; lobed pewter foot ring; domed pewter cover with ball-shaped latch; incised "L.G/1753" on top of cover; rough pontil mark.
