Physical DescriptionTransparent dark blue non-lead glass; blown-molded, enameled, gilt, transfer-printed. Cylindrical form, with flat base; gilt rim; white enamel panel of rectangular form with cut corners, on the side; black transfer-printed half-length portrait of a man in military uniform, within a wreath of oak leaves and laurel, with a crown above and double-headed Russian Imperial Eagle below; with flags and banners at either side; gilt outline to the panel, with stylized gold and black (tarnished silver) stylized flowers and foliage extending around the back; two narrow gilt lines at the base; polished flat bottom with polished concave pontil mark.Provenance
