Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide, cast gilt metal hanger. Flat, circular shape, enclosing a molded male bust portrait sulphide, facing dexter; flat reverse side of the sulphide impressed "DESPREZ, Rue des Recolets/No. 2, a Paris."; flat faces of the plaque polished; chamfered rims diamond faceted; cast gilt metal hanger of overlapping leaves with pendant flowers; post with band of beading, pierced for a loose ring for hanging.
