Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide, cast gilt metal mount. Flat, circular shape, enclosing a molded white sulphide male portrait (Benjamin Franklin), facing dexter; reverse side of the sulphide flat, impressed "FRANKLIN."; flat faces of the plaque polished; chamfered rims diamond faceted; cast gilt metal hanger formed of overlapping leaves with pendant flowers; post with band of beading, pierced for a loose ring for hanging.Provenance
