Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved. Bucket shape bowl with rounded base, engraved continuous landscape with a scene of two naked children, one holding a leafy branch, greeting each other, with elaborate buildings at the right, a lake, three people in a boat being pulled ashore by two men, and inscribed above "Lieb und wahre Freundes Treu."; on the opposite side a palm tree with two shields decorated with coats of arms tied to its trunk, with an elaborate ruin to its right, and inscribed above "Wachs und bleibe immer Neu."; tall stem composed of three discs above a hollow cylindrical section, two discs, a hollow flattened ball, two discs, a hollow cylinder, three discs, a hollow inverted baluster, and three discs; circular foot with folded rim and elaborately engraved wreath of flowers and foliage; rough pontil mark.
