Physical DescriptionGoblet. Colorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved. Large bucket bowl with rounded base; elaborately engraved trophies of arms on either side, flanked by crossed palm fronds, with crowned coats of arms between: one, with fleur-de-lis and wheel and the initials "H./C.F." above, the other with a crowned mermaid with two tails and the initials "H./P.A.R." above, both flanked by crossed palm fronds; inscribed "Herman Schwinger." between and below one trophy and the "H./P.A.R." arms to the right; tall stem composed of two discs, hollow flattened ball knop, two discs, cylindrical section, two discs, hollow inverted baluster, and two discs; large circular foot with folded rim and engraved ring of leaves and berries; rough pontil mark.
