Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless, with greenish tinge; many small bubbles. Blown; facet- and linear-cut. Dish: shallow. Rim plain, inturned, and with external bevel; wall curves down and in; base plain and uneven; no pontil mark. Decoration is facet-cut on wall and linear-cut on underside of base. Wall had two continuous horizontal rows of 48 hollow circular facets. Decoration on base is composed of grooves up to 0.5 cm wide: two concentric circles at edge of base contain large eight-pointed star consisting of contiguous kite-shaped motifs radiating from center; longer sides of each motif have shared triple borders, and shorter sides have free-standing triple borders.
