Physical DescriptionBlue-green glass with red and blue inclusions; blown, applied millefiori, soldered wire. J-shaped; stylized tubular body of transparent blue-green cased in colorless glass formed into a "J" curve, one end flattened and pulled horizontally at one point to create suggestion of a beak and the other end crimped to form a tail; lower half of body is decorated with three separated bands of alternating red and blue circular inclusions; two slices of black, white, orange and yellow millefiori are applied to two indentations on opposite sides near flattened top to create eyes; base with irregular opening approximately 1/4 way from tail end and next to two adjoining colorless prunts with ground ends; each prunt has been inserted with a copper cylinder which is, in turn, inserted with copper wire feet soldered to form flat, connecting wire feet.Provenance
