Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled. Cylindrical body, with rounded shoulders and tapered neck, trailed neck ring; polychrome enameled decoration, with looped bands on the neck, punctuated with bright red-orange dots; foliate scrolls on the shoulder; wide band on the sides with thirteen shields and coats of arms of Cantons of Switzerland; inscribed in script on the reverse "Die hochlov/Stichen 13 ordt/Zu der Schweiz/1796 O Jahr"; looped band below; bottom with kick and rough pontil mark.
