Physical DescriptionBlack (amethyst), probably non-lead glass; blown-molded, gilt. (a) Circular shape; tapered bowl flared at the top; expanding toward the rounded flange near the base; gilt on the exterior with a continuous Chinoiserie scene; interior gilt; cylindrical foot with flat, ground bottom; (b) Circular shape, with shallow, dish-shaped top, elaborately gilt on the inside with a continuous Chinoiserie scene; hollow base, open to the top, of spreading form, rounded at the bottom, with an inset, ground circular foot; gilt lines on the exterior.
