Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle and Stopper Spoon. Yellowish with red swirls, transparent red; opaque green, blue non-lead glass; blown, pad overlays, cameo carved. (a) Flattened ovoid form, with short cylindrical neck, polished flat rim, with an opening in the top for a stopper and spoon; rounded shoulders and sides, flattened sides; the body of a pale yellowish-transparent glass with cameo-carved pads of color, carved six frolicking fish in various single colors; carved waves at the base; carved recessed oval base. (b) Domed yellow glass button, mirrored underneath, on top, with minute faceting at the edge; mounted on a black disk; tapered cork shank; long ivory spoon, with slender handle and long pointed spatulate bowl.Provenance
