仿玛瑙玻璃云纹仙阁图鼻烟壶
Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle and Stopper Spoon. Translucent amber glass, orange stone (carnelian), metal, cork, ivory; blown, carved. (a) Flattened, ovoid form; short neck with carved square-section rim, polished flat on top, with a hole for a stopper and spoon; the shoulders and sides rounded, the faces flattened; all-over relief-carved scene of a pavilion, with stylized clouds, rocks and cranes; inscribed on the side in Chinese characters "Qi yu ting 气雨亭"; the carved oval foot with incised, swirled veins. (b) Domed orange stone (carnelian), finial, in a metal cup with ropework border; paper-wrapped tapered cork shank, with long ivory spoon, with slender handle and long, oval, spatulate bowl.
