Physical DescriptionSeventeen strips, canes and tiles of opaque medium blue, opaque white, opaque red, opaque yellow, translucent amethyst, translucent deep blue, translucent blue-green and turbid translucent green glass, all pitted and variously weathered; cast and mosaic glass (or millefiori technique. One rectangular bar, medium blue, roughly square in cross section; two rectangular bars, opaque white, roughly rectangular in cross section; three rectangular bars, opaque red, two roughly square in cross section, one a wide flat rectangle; four rectangular canes, opaque red inlaid with strips or bands of opaque white, yellow or red, all roughly rectangular in cross section; one rectangular strip, opaque yellow sandwiched between two bands of translucent amethyst, roughly rectangular in cross section; two short rectangular strips, broken from the same element, opaque white fused to translucent blue-green, roughly rectangular in cross section; a cylindrical cane, translucent turbid green, circular in cross section; three rectangular tiles of opaque medium deep blue.Provenance
