Physical DescriptionColorless glass, heavily weathered; blown and mounted in an elaborate lead holder. Holder has a thin cast "sunburst" pattern supported on a narrow handle, D-shaped in cross section, with two supporting struts which terminate in curved ends; the central circular opening is decorated with a concentric border in relief composed of a wavy or undulating line, the spaces filled with dots, suggesting a stylized grape vine; beyond this border is a series of five of these bent to the back, two are broken away, one has been bent out away from the back; triangular elements terminate at their base with two relief circles and central dots, creating a sort of stylized volute; the top of the mirror, opposite the handle, is a long somewhat triangular point with deformed crossbars.Provenance
