Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide, gilt turned metal frame. Flat, circular shape, with slightly convex polished face, flat back; enclosing a molded white sulfide of a male head (Napoleon I), facing sinister, wearing a laurel wreath, signed "ANDRIEU F." on the neck; the reverse side flat, impressed "DESPREZ,/Rue des Recolets,/No. 2, a Paris."; in a molded circular gilt metal frame; with turned post, pierced, with a loose metal ring for hanging.Provenance
