Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide, stamped metal, painted wood. Flat, oval plaque, both faces polished flat; rim chamfered; enclosing a molded sulphide portrait bust of a man (Napoleon I) facing sinister, inscribed "ANDRIEU F." at the base of the neck; reverse flat, impressed "D.P" in the center; mounted in a black-painted rectangular wood frame with rounded brass trim; back covered with a yellow velvet-lined, hinged oval metal plate with pointed latch; gilt metal stamped foliate hanger at the top, with loose ring for hanging.
