Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide, stamped metal mount. Flat, rectangular shape, in the form of a framed picture; a central rectangular raised panel polished flat, with notched rim, border scalloped, with ribbed cutting on the reverse of the scallops; a raised rectangular panel on the back, with all-over cut nail-head diamonds; enclosing a sulphide portrait of a man, facing dexter, wearing a heavy coat; reverse side flat; plaque drilled at the top, with a threaded wire loop and two stamped circular metal disks with beading and foliage, loose threaded wire loop for hanging.Provenance
