Physical DescriptionPaperweight with Sulphide of Joan of Arc. Colorless lead glass, white sulphide; paperweight, sulphide, cut. Low, polygonal form, with cut polygonal window on top, and diamond and triangular cut facets of the side; tapered disk base; enclosing a molded sulphide of Joan of Arc, holding a sword, wearing short armor and a skirt, standing next to a tree stump holding a gauntlet and a helmet, with sprays of oak and laurel at either side; polished base; paper label inscribed "71" in ink.Provenance
