Physical DescriptionPendant. Translucent turquoise glass, pitted with thin iridescent film in patches, applied opaque yellow and translucent deep blue glass; core-formed with trailed and tooled decoration. Pendant bead in the shape of a seated baboon with hands raised to mouth, lower section of body not preserved; elongated snout highlighted with two dots of yellow glass, bulging yellow eyes with blue centers, high arched eyebrows in yellow; body preserves part of right arm with section of yellow hand, left arm and hand broken away.
