Physical DescriptionBottle. Translucent purple glass; blown, applied. Bottle: cylindrical. Rim everted, turned inward, and flattened; neck cylindrical; shoulder rounded; wall almost vertical, but with slightly convex profile and curving in at bottom; base applied, shaped like disk, but with concave underside; pontil mark faint (D. about 0.9 cm). Applied decoration consists of single continuous horizontal trail at junction of neck and shoulder and, on wall, three horizontal rows of disks (D. about 1.2 cm), with four disks in each row, those in middle row are below gaps between disks in top row, and those in bottom row are below disks in top row.Provenance
