Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; (a) blown, fused while hot to cast section; (b) pressed (?), ground. Thickly blown bottle with slightly flared, lipless fire-polished rim, narrow extended neck, shoulder turns down to almost cylindrical body tapering in slightly towards base; body fused while hot (somewhat off center) to thick solid cast base disk slightly wider than the bottle in dimension, slightly concave base has overall mottling from mold; rough ponti; (b) solid stopper topped with horizontal "handle" with slightly tapered and rounded ends extending from center molded strap, short curved neck connects top to extended ground shank drilled at center point with four small holes, tips of holes meet making two pairs, shank tapers in and is notched around circumference towards flat, slightly beveled, ground and polished base; (a) engraved on base around pontil in script letters: "Alison (1) Berger (95)"; (b) engraved on center of one side of top "handle": "62".
