Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; cast, manipulated, sandblasted and acid-polished. Tapered four-sided vessel with square rim and base; wide, flat fire-polished rim is square with rounded corners; the underside of the middle of two opposing sides have been sharply tooled and pinched; rim extends outward at a sharp right angle to the body which has four distinct edges that extend down and then curve inward and taper to the base; pulling the form up from the mold has slightly distorted the walls into a bulbous shape and caused it to sit slightly off center of the solid base which it sinks into; base consists of a solid domed square foot with chamfered corners; exterior has been sandblasted; interior is acid-polished; signed and numbered on side of base, "M. Fujiwara 904".
