Physical DescriptionColorless, opaque white, transparent gray non-lead glasses; mold-blown, cut, laminated with photo bond, ground and polished. Cylindrical with stem and foot; mold-blown bowl of transparent colorless with straight tapering wall has ground and polished rim and exterior general abrading rendering of it translucent, bowl base has been cut flat and laminated to a flat, circular piece of gray with abraded edge of narrow diameter than the bowl base; stem is comprised of laminated cut flat glass layers of transparent colorless and a second layer of thin translucent white, sides where layering is apparent have been abraded; stem is laminated to flat circular pieces at the top and to a foot of flat, cut, polished and abraded gray, foot is square with two diagonally opposite squared corners and of the remaining two, one is rounded and the opposing one is broadly curved; on top surface of base, between the stem and broadly curved corner is laminated a hemisphere of slightly iridized colorless with minute air inclusions. Diamond-point engraved "Yasuko".
