Rim slightly flared, with lip flattened by grinding; neck narrow, tapering toward bottom; base plain, with underside ground flat at edge and slightly concave at center, presumably to removed pontil mark. Acid-etched cameo decoration in several shades of blue and violet, covering most of wall: part of vine with tendrils, leaves, and flowers; stems and tendrils are narrow and sinuous; leaves are lanceolate, with irregularly serrated edges and veins; flowers have four oval petals, pointed at tips, and prominent pistils. Bottom of wall is solid violet; parts of opalescent background are light blue, especially among flowers. Raised blue signature among leaves and flowers: "Gallé" above ligature.
