Decoration consists of gold rim and one incomplete and two complete Cross of Lorraine motifs, raised with gilded edges; behind these, against matte acid-etched background, long, thorny, thread-like stems which curve and divide, covered with black enamel; stems terminate in trefoil leaves which are partly covered with very thin black enamel and have acid-etched and gilded veins, and in buds which are gilded with red enamel details.
