Physical DescriptionOpaque red, grey-green, colorless non-lead glasses; overlaid, mold-blown, stained, gilded. Of colorless glass, lined with opaque red glass, and with stained and gilded decoration; tall, trumpet-shaped neck, with polished, flat rim; top of the rim stained grey-green and gilded; sides of the neck with scalloped band of staining around the top, vertical lines of stain forming panels below, interrupted by ovals, and with inverted scallops at the bottom, all with foliate tracery; stylized florets of grey-green stain within the panels; rounded ring at base of the neck, stained grey-green; body of the vase with rounded shoulders and tapered sides, decorated with a pelmet pattern of grey-green stain, decorated with gilt foliate tracery; a red section below the pelmets decorated with pendant foliate tracery; inverted stained grey-green pelmets at the bottom, outlined with gilding and with gilded foliate tracery; disk foot covered with grey-green stain and gilded bands; flat bottom.Provenance
