Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, zwischengoldglas technique. Tapered, straight-sided bowl with rounded base, with cut vertical panels on the sides; the bowl double-walled, with decoration of four human figures in tinted silver foil, each figure inscribed: "ASIA" (a nude figure with spear and shield), "EVROPA" (male figure in armor), "AMERICA" (a turbaned male) and "AFRICA" (a black wearing a feather headdress, holding a bow), tinted silver foil scrolls below, foliate medallion with two central diamonds in silver foil inside the bottom; oval facets around the base of the bowl; stem composed of a flattened merese above a facet-cut inverted baluster and disc merese at the bottom; circular foot with a ring of cut ovals on the underside; inscribed "50" in red paint on the underside of the foot.Provenance
