Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, zwischengoldglas technique. Straight-sided, tapered bowl with waisted base, panel-cut; double-walled, with transparent stains on silver foil between the two bowls, representing a garden scene, a woman offering a man a rose, while another gestures toward a palm tree, in the background an elaborate fountain with shell basin and three figures spouting water from their mouths, a border of silver acanthus leaves in the base; stem with flattened pad above a panel-cut inverted baluster stem and capstan; circular foot with cut ovals and radial cuts in a ring on the underside.Provenance
