Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, borosilicate (Pyrex®) and chrome plated metal; mold-blown by machine; spherical; flared rim with machine finished edge; cover concave with round knob, cover is bent up in rounded triangular shape opposite handle (top of triangle at base of knob, base of triangle at edge of cover), cover hinged to top of handle, hook-like piece 0.8cm long attached to underside of cover, piece extends down into pot; metal band around neck of pot; handle attached to pot by metal band; handle shape: horizontal 2cm, vertical 1cm, horizontal again 4cm, then tapering and rounding back to end at pot's lower half (not attached); pot body round, widest point halfway between neck and base; base flat and has greater diameter than neck, "PYREX/44-84" etched into base.
