Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; silver decoration, black plastic; mold-blown by machine, decorated; a) bulbous pot; machine finished rim with pinched lip, rim slightly angled so lip end taller than opposite end, rim rounded in to neck; short cylindrical neck; metal band around neck; handle opposite pinched lip, attached to neck by metal band and two screws, handle angled up then bent down, curved to parallel shape of pot, cover attachment piece on top of handle near rim of pot; body rounded out to bottom, bottom rounded in to base, seven bands of silver around circumference of top of body; flat circular base, green trademark stamped near center; b) cylindrical brewing basket; semicircular wire handle attached to top of basket; four equally spaced rectangular tabs extending out from rim; basket straight sided, circumference perforated with holes except at top, strip near bottom, and bottom, "teamakers, Inc. [in script] U.S.A. STAINLESS STEEL/U.S. AND FOREIGN PATENTS APPLIED FOR-MODEL NO. 6600" stamped into top of basket; circular metal mesh base; c) circular cover, small peak in middle of top, raised triangular attachment piece on one side of cover; sides of cover tapered out; rim tapered in; notch in rim and side opposite attachment piece; "EKCO PRODUCTS CO. CHICAGO, ILL. U.S.A./teakoe [in script]" and "U.S.-D168584/CANADA RD.1953/U.K.-REQ'D NO.896430/OTHER/U.S. AND FOREIGN PATENTS APPLIED FOR" and "3" molded into underside of cover.
