Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; mold-blown, by machine; acid-etched; pressed; a) spherical shaped pot; flared rim with machine finished edge; short cylindrical neck; body rounds out then rounds in, widest point halfway between top and bottom; flat circular base, "PYREX®/44-84/66" etched into base near center, old catalog number "75.51d" written in black ink near edge; b) cylindrical shaped cover; knob octagonal, center of cover raised with outer edge flaring down to rim, part of rim raised to form spout; rim of greater diameter than cylindrical insert; insert pressed in underneath spout, semicircular cut out at bottom of pressed in area; bottom of insert has flat rim.
