Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, blue-gray tint; aluminosilicate, borosilicate; stainless steel; aluminum; mold-blown by machine, pressed, mold-blown; a) cylindrical shaped pot; rim machine finished with pinched lip; rounded shoulder; cylindrical body with depressed channel around the circumference about one third of the way down from the rim; metal band in channel; vertical glass handle opposite lip, attached to pot by metal band, attachment piece, and screw, top of handle threaded, bottom octagonal; "PYREX" stamped into right side of handle attachment piece; flat circular base with Pyrex ® Flameware logo molded into center; b) circular cover; semi-circular flange, center of flange pressed in, ends flared out into cover; cover slightly domed; cylindrical insert on underside, "A-V" and "8106-C"molded into insert exterior, insert has two semi-circular tabs, are opposite each other; four raised bumps within raised ring with scalloped edge in center of underside, "PYREX" molded into one side and "MADE IN U.S.A." molded into opposite side of underside near insert; c) cylindrical shaped pump; vertical tube with squat round knob almost halfway down from top, bottom of tube flared out into base, both ends of tube open; base domed "F-11" molded into one side of top of base, "PYREX" molded into opposite side; d) cylindrical shaped glass basket sleeve; smooth rim; rounded shoulder; sleeve tapered out to bottom, bottom cylindrical; both ends of sleeve open; e) circular clip-on metal base for glass sleeve; base perforated with holes; cylindrical tube attached to center, tube open at both ends; five pointed star indented into base around tube; outer edge of base turned up, three curved tabs extend up from outer edge.Provenance
