Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, white metal, laminated wood; mold-blown by machine; a)conical shaped carafe; machine finished rim with pinched lip; cylindrical neck with metal band around it, wooden block in between ends of band, ends screwed to sides of block, block same height as band; handle opposite spout, handle looks like two metal rods soldered together, is oval in shape and oriented vertically, one side of handle attached to front of wooden block by screws, other side twisted three times; body of carafe tapers out to bottom, bottom rounds in to base, "CORNING BRAND/HEAT-PROOF GLASS" stamped onto side of body in green; base flat and circular; b)circular cover; ring knob in shape of oval, oriented horizontally, metal beaded on sides, scroll at bottom; cover has flat top, side of rim stamped with circles, bottom of rim rounds in to insert; insert cylindrical and short; screw on underside attaching knob to cover; c)circular stand; shallow dish, exterior of dish beaded just below rim, dish has flat bottom with large hole in center, dish attached to three legs of stand; legs rounded out then in, like "S"; circular hollow base, top flat with depressed center, beaded rim.Provenance
