Physical DescriptionGraduated translucent white (fading to colorless at base) cased in colorless non-lead glass; amber, brown, black, red enamels; blown, enameled, two or three firings. Large wide straight-sided cylinder with overall decoration of three oversize facial portraits of the artist separated by wide loosely brushed vertical black bands; at lower edge of "smiling" portrait are hand lettered words "CAST OUT A LIN/GOING TO REEL/IN THAT FISH/I'M GOINT/TO HOOK/ME"/DICK WEISS/3:40 PM SATELLITE DISH/JULY/3, 1991; at right base of second portrait "NEVER/NEVER NO NEVER/TURNING/BACK/NO TURNING/BACK"; third portrait has exaggerated eye area with black and red detailing; overall exterior dripping and interior and exterior spattering of black; flattened base, large ground and polished pontil.
