Physical DescriptionWhiskey Flask with Portraits of Washington and Taylor. Green or bottle glass, olive-amber; blown-molded; wide flattened ellipsoid body, cylindrical neck, wide flat sloping collar; oval panel with molded relief decoration--obverse: inscription "THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY" arching above classical profile bust of Washington with queue; reverse: inscription "GEN TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS" arching above profile bust of Taylor in uniform and facing left, and above the panel, the inscription "DYOTTVILLE GLASS WORKS PHILAD.A".Provenance
