(a) Rectangular low profile box with two encircling bands cut with a "gang wheel" and separated by an encircling band of horizontal ovals; polished base; wheel engraved on base: "F Carder". (b) Flat rectangular silver cover with rectangular "round cornered", centered insert low relief glass panel with cherubs at play; wheel engraved on back of glass panel: "F. Carder"; silver marked: "Sterling".
