Physical DescriptionSculpture, "Macbeth". Colorless glass, black granite; cast, copper-wheel engraved, assembled. Three-part glass sculpture interpreting the Scottish play, "Macbeth". (a) Colorless cast glass panel with one rounded edge. Panel copper-wheel engraved with image of the face of a man, Macbeth. (b) Colorless cast glass panel with one rounded edge. Panel copper-wheel engraved with image of a man, Duncan I, wearing a crown. A dagger is engraved on the front of the panel creating an overall image of the king moments before being stabbed by the dagger. (c) Colorless cast glass pillar with impressed image of a dagger. (d) Rectangular black granite base with black felt applied to base and top. (e) Certificate of authenticity and black and white photograph in leather-bound, velvet-lined holder.
