Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with trailed decoration of translucent pale amethyst, amber and opalescent; blown, manipulated, hot applications, hot-formed stem and foot, iridized. Tall form based on wine goblet shape; "bowl" is teardrop shaped with very narrow wrapped opening, upper section of opalescent body decorated with two applied colorless sections on opposite sides that reach up, like arms, and meet forming a point over the opening, lower third of body decorated with applied and pulled pale amethyst and amber trailing, bowl has overall iridization; tall solid stem and slightly conical foot of colorless glass applied while hot; rough pontil; inscribed in script on base: "Eisch 78".
