Physical DescriptionBrush Holder. Translucent yellow and red glasses; blown, cased and carved. Nearly baluster-shape; short neck slightly flaring to rim, irregularly cased in red; a frieze in red overlay, carved with male figures holding symbolic objects and alternating with rock and fungus forms below shoulder; foot rim of dark red with inner concave base displaying leaf-like splotches of red in the yellow glass, indicate the object was fully cased and then carved away the red overlay afterward.
