Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; gold decoration; plated and copper plated anodized aluminum; black plastic; mold-blown by machine, screen printed; a) bulbous shaped carafe; flared rim with machine finished edge, slightly pinched lip; neck slightly tapered out, metal band around neck; handle opposite lip, upside down "L" shape with turned in end, attached to neck by metal band and screws; body of carafe tapered out to middle, then rounded in to base, gold "U" design around circumference of upper half of body with design break below handle, "USE WIRE GRID ON/ELECTRIC RANGE" and "6/CUPS" printed on upper half of body to left of handle, "CORNING/HEAT PROOF GLASS/MADE EXPRESSLY FOR/Lipton" to right of handle; flat circular base; b) circular cover; tall cylindrical knob, top concave, sides tapered out, upper half ribbed; cover slightly domed, rim turned up; cylindrical insert on underside of cover, three raised bumps on insert exterior; notch removed from one side of insert and cover; c) wire grid; single wire, ends not soldered together.Provenance
