Physical Description2 Models for a Marcas et Bardel Box Lid, "Figurines et voiles (Figurines and veils)". White plaster; cast. Circular disk shape; (A) is a modified positive image of (B), both depicting two female figures facing in profile, seated on floral garlands and surrounded by swirls of drapery; in (B) the figures are nude, in (A) they are clothed in flowing drapery; a garland follows the entire edge of (A) but in (B) the garland follows only the left hemisphere.
